Naaz Bangali is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major. She is interested in exploring the intersections of biology and psychology, particularly how various forms of stress and psychological disorders impact different body systems. When she’s not busy at work, she loves to bake cupcakes and spend time with her family and friends.
LEXY MULLER (She/Her)

Lexy is a second year psychology major with a prospective minor in professional writing. She joined the Aggie Transcript: Psychology to gain more experience with psychology research to pursue her goal of getting a doctorate in psychology and becoming a researcher in the field. Lexy is interested in evolutionary psychology, social psychology, and emotional processing. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming, baking, and petting every dog in sight.
BRIANA GONZALEZ

Briana is a third-year undergraduate majoring in psychology. She joined the journal to make research more accessible and to be part of a collaborative, undergraduate-led publishing team. She’s particularly interested in neuroscience and its impact on development, specifically how brain development influences social and emotional growth. In her free time, Briana loves to spend time with her dog, play tennis, and swim when the weather allows. Briana has played tennis for over 11 years and works as a senior tennis coach over the summer, something she looks forward to every year.

Cheshta Sharma is a third-year Psychology and Animal Science double major. She is a junior editor of The Aggie Transcript: Psychology. Cheshta is passionate about scientific writing and research that combines both of her backgrounds. After graduating, Cheshta plans to get her PhD in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, making art, and going on walks.
CROSBY COX

Crosby is a third-year psychology major with a minor in education. He joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a junior editor to better understand the academic writing process in social sciences. Crosby’s research interests pertain to social/emotional dynamics, cognition, and developmental psychology. After completing his undergraduate degree, Crosby is planning to pursue a PhD in developmental psychology with the goal of becoming a professor. Outside of school, Crosby enjoys playing bass guitar, hiking, and playing pickleball.
SABIHA JAMIL

Sabiha is a third-year Cognitive Science major and a junior editor for ATP. She joined ATP to gain experience in research writing and further develop her academic skills. Her primary interests lie in cognitive psychology and related areas of mental processes and behavior. After graduating from UC Davis, she hopes to pursue graduate school to continue her studies. In her free time, she enjoys scrolling on TikTok, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops.

Sahar Sumrein is a third-year English major with a minor in professional writing. She enjoys all things writing and editing and is always excited to learn about new topics and subjects through doing so. In her free time, she likes spending time with friends and family, listening to Billboard's Top 100 list, and doing even more reading.

Ella is a fourth-year student studying Psychology and English. With prior experience as an editor for literary journals, she was eager to explore the world of scientific and academic writing. She is especially interested in the intersections of philosophy, myth, and the mind, with a particular curiosity for depth psychology. Outside of her academic work, Ella is a horseback rider, multidisciplinary artist, and period drama film buff.

Kyra Chung is a second-year Psychology and Sociology double major with a minor in Political Science. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a junior editor to expand her understanding of her two main passions: writing and psychology! Kyra’s research interests revolve around personality and social psychology, human behavior, and forensics. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Kyra is planning to pursue her PhD in psychology with the ultimate goal of working in criminal psychology. In her free time, Kyra enjoys reading, rewatching Gilmore Girls, and finding fun ways to spend less time on her phone.

Ciara is a second-year undergraduate student double-majoring in Psychology and English with hopes of attending law school following graduation. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology to further develop her professional writing skills while engaging with current research and concepts within the psychology field. Along with The Aggie Transcript: Psychology, she is also involved with the Davis Pre-Law Society, UC Center of Sacramento internships, and Davis Women’s Baseball. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and softball, reading, attending concerts, and spending time with friends & family.

Juvi is a fourth-year Psychology student and Neuroscience minor who joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a junior editor to explore the publishing side of academia and pursue her passion for journalism. Aiming for a dual career path as both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Neuroscientist, she plans to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Juvi’s academic interests are deeply rooted in understanding how neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and Schizophrenia develop from infancy through the lenses of epigenetics and cognitive psychology. In her free time, you will find her either buried in a book, scrapbooking, journaling, binging her favorite TV show, gaming, or exploring the latest trends in tech.

Keira is a third year Psychology Major who is most interested in pursuing Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the future. She is especially fascinated by personality, social, and abnormal psychology and joined the Aggie Transcript to help facilitate fellow students’ interests in psychology. Outside of academics, Keira loves to volunteer with the dogs at the local shelter, exercise, crochet, and try new crafts or foods with her friends.

She is also interested in education and hopes to pursue a career that blends both of these interests. In her free time, Simran enjoys being outdoors, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.

Iman Shoukat is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major with a minor in India and South Asia studies. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology to explore the intersection of her interests, specifically writing and neuroscience, and help make the world of publishing more accessible for fellow undergrads. Iman hopes to obtain an MD-PhD dual degree after graduation and delve further into the world of academia and medical research. When she’s not studying, you can find Iman listening to music, playing video games, going for nature walks, or trying a new cafe.

After graduation, Kelsey plans to pursue a masters in speech language pathology and hopes to become a child speech therapist. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys fiber arts, reading, paddleboarding, and playing the guitar.

Her interests lie in clinical and developmental psychology, and she is fascinated by how early life experiences shape cognitive development and the mechanisms of psychological interventions. She plans to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology after completing her undergraduate degree. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, exploring new cafes, and being with friends and family.

Natalie is a third-year undergraduate majoring in psychology. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology to gain valuable insight into the publishing process of academic writing. Her research interests lie in developmental psychology particularly, how developmental processes influence personality formation and the onset of mental disorders. After completing her undergraduate degree, Natalie wants to receive her master’s degree in clinical psychology with hopes of becoming a school psychologist.
RUHIN SIDHU

Ruhin Sidhu is a fourth-year Cognitive Science major with a Neuroscience emphasis at the University of California, Davis. Her interests sit at the intersection of brain, behavior, and society, and she is currently preparing to apply to medical school with the goal of combining neuroscience research and community-based care. In the Zito Lab, she works on developing a fluorescent biosensor to measure D-serine signaling at synapses. Outside the lab, she serves as an EMT and provider coordinator with Sacramento Street Medicine. When she is not working, she enjoys playing with her cat Blue, and searching for the best taco trucks!

Evelyn is a 4th-year Anthropology and Psychology major with a minor in Technology Management. She joined Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a Web Designer to help maintain a space where students can educate themselves and educate their peers on new and old topics! Evelyn has always had a passion for understanding the way people behave and how they interact with one another. In her free time, Evelyn enjoys playing video games, listening to her favorite songs, or planning her life on Notion or in her journal.

Rameen is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Psychology. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a graphic designer because it combines two of her favorite things, working on aesthetics and psychology. Her interests are mainly social/personality psychology, clinical psychology, and behavior analysis. Rameen loves to watch thriller/horror movies, reading, buying all things green, and drinking coffee like her life depends on it. Spoiler: it does.

Malaika is a first-year undergraduate majoring in Psychology. She joined The Aggie Transcript: Psychology as a web designer because she wants to gain more exposure to research in psychology. Her interests are mainly clinical psychology, quantitative psychology, and statistics. Malaika loves art, animals, reading, and going out for coffee with friends.
